In my dearest memories xx I see you reaching out for me... -------------------------------------------
It was a normal day in the kingdom of Alexandria, the people went about their buisness and greeted eachother with the familiar hellos. Garnet had taken on the role of Queen, and had finally been reunited with Zidane. She also helped with rebuilding Lindblum and the other places affected by Kuja and his destruction. Yes all was well, until the next morning. That morning she had woken up in a different place, it was not her home. Her first thoughts had been panic, where was her kingdom. Beatrix and Steiner, how come they didn't come to her when she called. She couldn't even find Zidane or any of her friends, she was lost and scared and unsure of where she was. That had been a few days ago, and still the young queen hasn't given up on hope. Knowing in her heart she will find her friends, and the one she loved soon. When she had come upon the town here, she asked around if anyone had seen the people she described. They shook their heads and continued on their way, sighing she had found a inn where she could stay. So what was she up to now, Garnet was walking around the square, hands behind her back as she watched people in the marketplace look over the fruit of the day and vegetables. It reminded her so much of home, and a smile crept across her lips. She soon wandered over to the local sweet shop, and looked over the many sweets in the display window. Reaching for her gil pouch on the side of her orange jumpsuit, she only hoped they accepted her kind of money. Picking out a few items, the person behind the counter nodded lightly and put them in a box for her and ran up the total on the till. She took out a few pieces of gil and gave them to the person, who accepted them and handed her the box. Saying thank you, Garnet left the store and walked over to a bench taking a seat. Opening the box, she took out one of the little cakes and took a small bite. Blinking she was amazed at how sweet and rich it was, and took another bite. Once she was finished, she glanced down to the cobble stone ground and noticed some birds were pecking at the crumbs. Closing the box, she began to hum the song she and Zidane shared with eachother hoping it would carry on the wind and let someone hear it.[/blockquote]

“ I CAN BREATHE, I CAN BREATHE ” 나 를 조여 오는 이 느낌이 762 GARNET BLEH DX It was one of those days where absolutely nothing happened. Then again for him that was almost like every day, where one feels empty, as if they have accomplished nothing, as if for some reason they were incomplete. In a way he was stuck in a rut but he didn't mind it. He didn't really mind anything except for light but that would only only make sense seeing the position he is in. Even if he never swore his allegiance he is by technicality aligned to dark. It is only natural that light would bother him. He can stand a small amount of it, sure it bothers him but he could withstand it. Everyone has some amount of light. Not to say that he was an optimist because really, he wasn't. No he was a realist who can see both of the sides. Having a clear mind and no emotions to cloud him, he can see through things rather easily and decide his next move. So without have bias thoughts he knew that people were capable of both light and dark. They were born with the same composition after all. It was just the choices that affected them. No one was perfectly light or perfectly dark. That was why he would have to deal with light no matter what but as long as it wasn't too much he didn't mind it.
One of the days where Alyce and in turn, the male as well, was allowed to take a break. After all a person can only go so far before needing some kind of rest. It wasn't as if there was anything that was of immediate threat as of yet. Although he had heard of rumors that there were people dressed in strange clothing landing here but he didn't put too much thought into it. They were small rumors and from what he had heard they were nothing that he needed to be concern about. For now life will just continue on for him.
Since today was a day off for the two, he had decided that it would be best to restock on supplies. Perhaps he should buy some potions. Some food would do as well even if the silver haired male was not sure of what he wanted to buy. He would just buy the necessity and that was it. He was also careful of the budgets since it wasn't like they were rich. Despite being part of the military, they were only seventeen. Well Alyce was turning eighteen soon but still it wasn't very old and so they were paid as much. Such a shame having the wage depend on experience rather than skill. After all, with experience came age as well and age can weaken you after a certain point. Of course he would never say this as he doesn't want to get into trouble.
Soon Vinson heard a soft humming that carried on in the wind. It was so light and peaceful that it would had made the perfect lullaby. His eyes merely blinked though as he continued to walk. He can see some people turning to the direction of the source curious but they would merely shrug it off and walk away, a common reaction. The male himself would had done it as well if it wasn't for something he sensed. Something that aggravated him. Yes, he can sense the light in the soft tune. Someone who can be described as pure. His hand rested on his sword that was at his waist. His steps didn't quicken but it didn't slow down either.
Once he reached to the source he saw a girl with short black hair holding a bag of chocolate. She appeared to be around his age, maybe a bit younger. Again he had merely blinked his grip slightly tightening. It wasn't that he hated the girl, he doesn't even know her. Rather it was something in his nature, in the back of his mind that told him to go up and kill her. Vinson slowly walked up to her and made a small comment. "That is a nice tune." he stated as simple as that. He didn't say anything else either but merely waited for her reply. Even though he wanted to kill the girl, the fact that she was dressed in strange clothes made it obvious that she didn't belong here. Was she someone from the rumor? If so then maybe he can get some information from her, if not then he would gladly attack her without a care in the world. TEMPLATE BY RIMY OF ON THE EDGE| LYRICS TAKEN FROM BREATHE BY G-DRAGON

In my dearest memories xx I see you reaching out for me... -------------------------------------------
Things had never been easy for her back home, especially when she was lied to by her stepmother and chased by Kuja. After Brahne's death she had cut her hair short, not wanting to wallow in despair and guilt or sorrow because she had been killed. It had been Kuja who took control of the eidolons he had those jesters steal, even so the young queen found it odd that Kuja had a change of heart right at the end and saved them. She now had her long hair back, and it was clasped at the bottom with a teal hair clip. Only when she wore the royal dress, did she have a golden clasp to hold her long hair at the bottom. Tucking some stray hair behind her ear, she continued to sing the melody. People who passed by seemed to stop and listen, but soon continued on to do their daily buisness. They were probably curious as to who she was, and why she was here. After all for the past few days, she has been getting akward looks. Garnet heard someone speak, and she stopped singing. Turning her head her eyes fell upon what seemed like a young man, perhaps he was from here. "Oh, thank you very much". With all the people passing her she was somewhat happy someone commented on her song, well actually it was her and Zidane's song. The reason she was humming it was because she hoped it would somehow reach him, and bring him back to her. It had worked the last time, so why couldn't it work this time. Standing up, she brushed herself of crumbs so the birds could eat those as well when they fell to the ground. Grabbing her box of cakes, she looked back to the young man. Garnet took a quick glance of him, noticing the sword on his side and his hair. The clothing he wore, and the way he spoke even if it was brief. Looking away she shifted her right foot abit, wondering if she should ask if he's seen her friends. Everyone else she has spoken to has told her that they haven't, but it was worth a try. Zidane always told her never to give up, and she wasn't about to. "I was curious sir, have you seen anyone else with strange clothing like me? I'm trying to find them". It was a long shot, and maybe she might get lucky with a answer. If not it was back to square one, and she would need to probably ask elsewhere.[/blockquote]

“ I CAN BREATHE, I CAN BREATHE ” 나 를 조여 오는 이 느낌이 944 GARNET POOR POOR GARNET At his comment the humming has stopped, something he could honestly say he was happy about. Even though it was a good lullaby, and he did like to sleep, the melody was far too warm. It almost felt as if it burned him but he didn't say that. "Oh, thank you very much". A rather predictable response when one is complimented even if the person didn't mean it. He doubt she would even know anyway since his voice always did carry something along the line of a monotone. He merely nodded in reply if one can even consider it a reply in the first place. His golden orbs as usual showed apathy. He remembered how he heard some people mentioned how his eyes looked like he was annoyed or simply sleepy. They were comments he would just ignore as it was never made to him. No, the fact that his eyes were cold like ice and how quiet he was, the male gave off an aura of being unapproachable. Although that didn't stop everyone, there were some that had tried to come up and talk to him. Most of the time they were people in the military who he would talk to. Despite how cold he appeared, he can actually carry a conversation when he chooses to.
As he stared at the girl, her eyes that seems to be holding onto something. The male couldn't place what it was though. As she slowly got up and brushed some of the crumbs off to feed the birds. Some would say that she was being charitable. After all she was feeding the birds right? Yet in the eyes of the male she was simply giving them her trash and expecting them to be happy. Despite the fact that the birds were being fed, she was giving them crumbs. Giving them left overs and expecting them to be happy. If the birds were smarter they should feel insulted by her actions. Lucky for her though, they weren't evolved enough and so they lacked the ability to think such things through, that is to say if they even think. Animals always seems to react to instinct rather than having some actual though process. He looked down at the birds that slightly picked at the crumbs, some fighting each other so selfishly for it. The sight was something normal. People fight over the most idiotic of things. The war between light and dark in his opinion right now was stupid with one of them being too greedy and the other taking her chances. He really didn't care which side won though as long as he and Alyce survived. The rest could die, they could always be easily replaced. A life was not that important in the eyes of the world. Besides, people die all the time anyway.
The teen watched her give him a glance as if she was inspecting him for a moment. Her eyes contemplating before she opened her mouth. "I was curious sir, have you seen anyone else with strange clothing like me? I'm trying to find them". Well looks like he was right then, she was one of the people from the rumors. She was looking for her friends as well apparently. Was she worried about them or was she scared that she couldn't defend herself? Whatever it was, he can sense the light that surrounded her and it was starting to make him want to draw his sword. If he was to kill her right now, he knew it would cause too much trouble. This wasn't the territory of darkness but light. Word would quickly get out and people didn't tremble in fear so easily here. It was disgusting at times to see the determination on their eyes. That was why when he attacked, he always aimed for the eyes first, not to blind them but to get rid of that spark.
"No." came his quick and rather simply answer as well. It wasn't a lie as he really has yet to see one despite his many travels. Although it wasn't the entire truth either as he has heard of rumors but he saw no reason to hand over such information. Instead, Vinson was trying to decide what to do. If she had friends they would most likely be affiliated with light, people with common interest do tend to band together. It was a simple concept. So perhaps he should kill her right now to give them a warning or should he just hurt her fragile delicate skin? Start but cutting her eyes that held onto something that he could not name. Then maybe her vocal cords so that she could never hum that melody? Perhaps he should just kill her in one swing and aim for her heart? He was close enough but he can feel some eyes on them. After all, it's not every day you get to see someone in such strange clothing. There were too many witnesses, the girl was rather lucky they were in town right now. Then an idea came to him. "There are rumors of someone with your style of clothing down south." he told her turning to the direction that he was talking about. The place he had in mind was the forgotten land. If he was to see her there he could easily kill her as no one would care. If he didn't kill her then there was always someone else, someone from the military or maybe someone from the streets that wants to grab whatever she has on her. Slowly his head turned back towards her waiting to see what her reaction would be. TEMPLATE BY RIMY OF ON THE EDGE| LYRICS TAKEN FROM BREATHE BY G-DRAGON

In my dearest memories xx I see you reaching out for me... -------------------------------------------
Garnet didn't just hum that song for anyone, well perhaps at first she had done that. When Zidane had heard her humming it at the top of the palace in Lindblum, but this wasn't home she had to keep reminding herself of that. As she stood up from the bench and brushed the remaining crumbs off her, she watched the birds that had gathered around going at them. Garnet thought it was going to be calm with the birds eating, but she noticed some them started to fight over the crumbs. That just proves you can't always have the peaceful setting as she did back home. Besides the birds back home were more calm, then these ones. Holding her little sweet box close, she stepped around the birds and just let them devour the crumbs as they see fit. Not wanting to be in the middle of their little fight. When that was said and done, she looked back to the young teen who had commented on her song. Garnet then brought up the issue of her friends, it was a shot in the dark but she just had to know. Everyone else she turned to in this strange world either told her no, or they just seemed to ignore her. Hearing his answer when she asked her question, it was a quick and simple answer. Letting a small sigh escape her lips, she knew it was asking alot to put her hopes up. "Well that is a little of a disappointment". Garnet tilted her head abit and looked at his face, not being able to read what he was thinking of course. So she had no idea if she could trust this young teen, or just go on her way. She was about to turn and walk away, to continue her search by herself when she heard him speak again. The gloomy look on her face seemed to light up abit, he had seen others dressed like her. Just down south, that could be them. But wait, how come they would be down there and not come to the town. It didn't make any sense to her, but she just had to see if it was her friends. Then she could be reunited and they could try to figure out what is going on, why they had been pulled from their world to come here. Quirking a brow, she really wanted to make sure. "So you say if I go with you down south, I could see my friends? This is no trick?"After all she was taught not to trust strangers, and since this was not her world she had to be extra careful of whom she spoke to and who she went with. It was she just seemed to get somewhat of a bad feeling from this teen, and should keep her guard up. And she didn't need to worry, she had her summons and magic she could use if it came to a battle or fight.[/blockquote]
