Magic existed just fine; it was almost common for everyone to know magic thanks to the Lunarians. A whole city was founded upon the use of magic. Even Baron, in all its glory, had a corps dedicated to magic. And yet alchemy was supposedly closely related to magic. In Rydia’s opinion, it all silliness; someone just made up a word in this world to try to make things more complicated. In her world, turning something into something else was just a type of magic. Anyone was capable of learning such spells. Even she had that type of spell in her arsenal: pig. But supposedly that was supposed to be restricted to potions in this world. It made absolutely no sense to think that the magical power of transformation could only be mastered in potion making. ”So what does the green one do?” the green haired girl asked curiously. The shopkeeper just shrugged, making Rydia blink. What good was this magic if no one knew what type of magical spells were contained within them?! The tiny girl pouted as she stared at the bright green concoction. And it was such a pretty green. The color itself made her want to drink it, which was rather dangerous. Such a pretty colored potion that fizzled and smelled like melon, it seemed almost impossible to be dangerous. ”Mhmm… Mhmmm…” She nodded. It was too pretty to resist. ”I’ll buy it anyways…” she announced. The lady smiled as she picked up the decorative bottle with the fizzling green potion within. Rydia hummed happily as she snuggled the bottle. Asura was rather smart and good with magic, her mother could figure out what this magical potion in no time. It was probably smart to go back to her mountain-hidden-city-cottage-area before summoning her mother. The young girl still hadn’t figured out anything about this strange new world. It was just luck she found a city. Then again… She could have used it on one of the people in this town. She had very strong magic, so if something bad happened from her new toy, she could have easily reversed it. And if it was something completely unexpected, some from the potion shop might fix it. The happy girl hummed as she skipped off to Milk and Honey. The place had tons of sweet smelling items she had never seen before. She ordered an candied apple then dropped a bit of the green potion on top of it before happily walking back into the street. ”Free sample! Free yummy sample!” she shouted as she held out the candied apple treat. Hopefully someone would come and try it… And then… And then… |
