Weapons/Abilities:

Garnet uses rods and rackets as her weapons.

Garnet uses many abilities such as White Magic and Summons.
Her white magic consists of many different types, depending on what rod she may use in battle or racket. Since most of them require different types, and sometimes she will carry more then one with her should a occassion rise where she might need to use different abilities. That's also the case when it comes to using her healing spells as well, but if needed she could always use potions or hi-potions. Also other items as well. (More or less look to wiki for a whole list of her abilities, believe me there is tooooo many to list)


Eidolons/ Summons:

Garnet uses Eidolons, since she was born with them inside her when she lived at the summoner village. She can summon powerful Eidolons to aid her in battle.

History:

Garnet was born Sarah in the village of summoners, to her father (name unknown) and mother named Jane. They were so happy to be blessed with a baby girl, but soon after her father barely showed any emotion to his wife and Sarah. When Garnet was still young, Garland attacked the island. Jane took her daughter in a boat and took her away into a oncoming storm, Sarah looked back to her burning home and saw the big eye in the sky. That was the last time she ever saw the summoner village, her father and her mother. The boat crashed killing her mother and leaving her alone.

It was Doctor Tot, Queen Brahne and her husband who found Sarah clinging to the boat. They noticed she resembled the late princess Garnet who passed away, and got rid of Sarah's summoner horn and made her the replacement for the dead former princess. She grew up in the palace, forgetting who she was and where she had come from. Years later for her 16th birthday, Queen Brahne invited Tantalus to put on a performance. Garnet was not impressed and not enjoying herself so she left her seat. She hatched a plan to be kidnapped by Tantalu and have them take her away from the palace. Since she had a feeling her mother was up to something, in the recent days she had noticed a change in her mother as well.

A man named Kuja visited her quite often, changing out of her gown she changed into her orange jumpsuit. Stole the royal pendant, and put on a white mage coat heading down the stairs. This is where she first met Zidane, running pass him a chase ensued until finally they got on the Tantalus ship. Her, and Steiner went with the Tantalus group. Her mother wasn't very happy, and attacked the ship and then it crashed in the evil forest. Zidane and the party had to save her from a evil plant, then the forest petrified it's self and Blank gave his life to save them.

Garnet soon woke up, and as the journey continued on she changed her alias to Dagger. The Black Waltzes chased after them, each wanting to capture her and take her back to the palace. In Dali they found a underground Black Mage factory, made from Mist. As they raced to Lindblum Black Waltz No.3 caught up to them, but was defeated and killed in the tunnel into the city. Once there Garnet met up with her Uncle Cid and explained what was going on, even he knew Brahne has changed. He suggested they go to Treno, and talk to Doctor Tot.

Once in Treno they went to find Doctor Tot, when passing by the auction house. Garnet noticed Kuja, but went on her way. Doctor Tot told her about eidolons, that because Garnet was now sixteen her eidolons would begin to stir inside her. He told her they found her in a boat when she was young, with her dead mother and had a horn on her head. Knowing the truth she knew what had to be done. She had to confront her mother, leaving Zidane she went with Steiner back to the palace but were ambushed by Kuja. He put her under a sleeping spell, and Zorn and Thorn extracted them from her.

Zidane along with Blank and the other members of Tantalus saved her, she had to go to the summoner village. They visited the Black Mage village since Vivi wanted to know who he really was, then passed through Conde Petie and met a young girl named Eiko who was from the village. Going with her Garnet found the eidolon wall, and the note her father left her and her mother. It was emotional for her.

On the rest of her adventure she managed to regain her eidolons, at least some of them. Her memories returned of the attack on her old home, she met alot of new friends as well. Such as Freya, Aramant and Quina. Returning to Alexandria she sees Kuja using her eidolons for destruction. Going up to the roof she meets up with Eiko to help her summon Alexander to protect the castle. But Kuja tries to use the giant eye to take the eidolon, and destroys him the roof cracks as they both fall and Zidane comes to the rescue. Brahne attacks the burmecians with Odin, destroying their city that was protected by a sandstorm.

When she goes to get Leviathan, Kuja attacks again with Bahamut and turns it on Brahne destroying her fleet but Bahamut turns on Kuja and attacks him as well. Garnet finds her mother barely alive on the beach, where she dies. After the funeral Garnet loses her voice and the ability to summon. But soon realizes she can't wallow in despair, with the help of her friends she changes into a stronger person. She cuts her hair, letting go of the past and smiles to Zidane. They go to defeat Kuja once and for all, though in the end he saves them as they escape. With a final goodbye, Garnet boards the airship and goes back to Alexandria and to help rebuild Lindblum which was destroyed as well.

Sometime later, with her hair grown back. Garnet is now the queen of Alexandria and Tantalus has come to perform once more, she stands when Zidane reveals himself and she goes down to meet him. Steiner and Beatrix let her through the doors, as she runs down the stairs and outside. Her pendant flying off, ignoring it she runs down to him and throws her arms around his neck. After beating on his chest she hugs him, and they share a kiss. Asking him how he survived he said he remembered her song, Garnet corrects him saying "Our Song".
