Tiny Bee – These are the twin guns Yuna uses when in her Gunner Dress Sphere.
Nirvana – Yuna’s staff from when she was a Summoner. Though the Eternal Calm has come and there was no more need for Summoners, Yuna still uses her staff from time to time to heal people.
Dress Spheres:
During her Sphere Hunting career, Yuna has been in contact with many different Dress Spheres and their abilities. She never really got the hang of most of them however, and only ever uses three of them; White Mage (She knew all these skills from when she was a Summoner), Gunner (She’s spent close to two years learning to fight with guns. She’s not a pro, but she does alright) and Songstress.
Magic:
Despite numerous attempts at learning some magic from Lulu, Yuna still primarily uses White Magic.

Yuna was born 19 years ago to a priest of Bevelle and the sister of the Al Bhed leader Cid, making her a half-breed.
Though tensions were high between Yevon and the Al Bhed – priests of Yevon simply didn’t marry Al Bhed and had children with them, after all – Yuna’s birth somewhat lessened these tensions, and her mother took this opportunity to travel to her homeland of Bikanel to mend her ties with the family, Cid in particular. Sadly, her ship was attacked by Sin, and the woman died before she could even hear her daughter’s first words.
Though struck with grief, Braska somehow turned his pain into strength, and so he resolved to become a Summoner in order to stop Sin from tearing apart any more families. He stayed with Yuna for seven years before he finally departed, never to return again. He enlisted an exiled warrior-monk named Auron, and Jecht; a man who suddenly appeared in Spira and claimed to come from a city that no longer existed, as his Guardians. Knowing he would die, he asked Auron to take Yuna to Besaid so she could grow up peacefully there. Sadly, Auron too was mortally wounded and left the responsibility with a Ronso named Kimahri.
After her father’s death, Kimahri came to her and took her to Besaid Island, as he had promised.
Even though Kimahri initially attempted to leave afterwards, Yuna pleaded with him to stay and he complied. At Besaid, she becomes close friends with Lulu and Wakka - the two seeing her as a younger sister.
At age 17, after much discussion with both Lulu and Wakka, Yuna decided to become a Summoner, following in her father’s footsteps of bringing peace to Spira, even if it meant giving her life. Her first trial was a long and difficult one, so long in fact that Wakka – her guardian – worried something might’ve happened and went through the trials to get to her, something that earned him a lecture from Lulu, her other guardian. It was at this day that Yuna first met the man who would change her life forever; Tidus.
Yuna’s pilgrimage was in no way easy. Before she even reached the second temple on Kilika Island, the boat she was on got attacked by Sin, though he was driven off, he ended up going straight for Kilika and destroyed the small town, killing many. On her way through Luca, she heard that one of her father’s guardians, Auron, was around town. After much hassle dealing with Wakka’s Blitzball match and Yuna’s kidnapping and subsequent escape, she finally enlisted him as a guardian.
Shortly after, Yuna was called upon again to send the dead to the Farplane, after the attempt to destroy Sin during operation Mi’hen went horribly wrong and ended with many casualties, including one of the people she truly cared for. It was also during this time she first met Maester Seymour Guado. Upon reaching Djose Temple she meets another summoner, Isaaru, and receives the Aeon Ixion.
When the group crossed the Moonflow, Yuna was kidnapped yet again. This time by what turned out to be her cousin, Rikku, who merely wanted to keep the summoner out of harm’s way. Tidus – having met Rikku before – vouches for her and Yuna takes Rikku on as her guardian. At the next stop in Guadosalam, Yuna met Seymour once again, and this time he proposed to her. After visiting her parents on the Farplane, Yuna and the group headed for Macalania Temple after receiving news that’s where Seymour was headed.
While crossing the Thunder Plains on the way to Macalania, Yuna observed the contents of a sphere left to her by Seymour's father in the Farplane and discoverd that Seymour killed his own father in order to become Maester. She decided to play at marriage in order to get Seymour to talk. Her plan failed when her Guardians came for her, and they were forced to kill Seymour before being chased out of the temple by Seymour’s followers.
Yuna and her Guardians end up trapped under the ice and are seemingly attacked by Sin. Yuna soon found herself alone under the ice and was captured by the Guado that had chased them, and she was forced to marry the now unsent Maester Seymour. Once more Yuna attempted to play at marriage, this time to send Seymour to the Farplane, but again her plans were foiled by none other than her Guardians, who had come to rescue her. Yuna stepped down in order to protect her allies, and married Seymour under the impression that Seymour would keep his word and let her Guardians go if she did. When she realized he had lied, she threatened to commit suicide by jumping off the church and told her friends to leave, she then jumped and was saved by her very first Aeon, Valefor.
After receiving the Aeon Bahamut at Bevelle, Yuna and her Guardians were tried for murder and treason. They managed to escape to Macalania, with their faiths in Yevon shaken. At the spring, she shared her fist kiss with Tidus and he promised to always stay with her.
Yuna and her Guardians then travelled to Zanarkand where she defied what the other summoners had done before her and refused to sacrifice one of her Guardians to become the Final Aeon, this forced her to fight and kill Yunalesca in self defense. Yuna was intrigued by Yunalesca’s final words and sought out Grand Maester Mika in order to find out the truth behind Sin. Yuna then found out about Sin’s rebirth, and decided to face Sin and head-on and defeat it at it’s core, where the unsent summoner Yu Yevon awaited. After defeating Sin, Yuna becomes a High Summoner and Spira has finally entered an Eternal Calm. However, the destruction of Sin and Yu Yevon meant the fall of the Fayth and the death of Tidus, who was a product of the Dream Zanarkand created by Yu Yevon. During a tearful farewell, Yuna told Tidus she loved him.
Though the calm had come and Spira could finally start rebuilding without having to worry about Sin, Yuna urged the people of Spira during her speech to never forget the people they had lost and the dreams they had been forced to let go.
Two years later, Yuna was called upon again to bring peace to Spira, this time with just the aid of her cousin Rikku and a fellow Sphere Hunter named Paine. Yuna had previously decided to leave her quiet home in Besaid to join Rikku as a Sphere Hunter when she showed her a Sphere of what seemed to be Tidus.
The journey for the truth was long and difficult; There was competition with other Sphere Hunters, the newly formed groups the Youth League and New Yevon were at each other’s throats with Yuna in the middle after finding a Sphere detailing more of Yevon’s secrets, Yuna finding out about a weapon of mass destruction called Vegnagun and the tormented spirits of Lenne and Shuyin – who turned out to be the man in the Sphere – and having to fight her old Aeons again in self-defense.
Yuna and her friends went through many difficulties to restore the peace back to Spira, including fighting and killing all of Yuna’s Aeons and giving a concert to bring Spira closer together. The eventually defeated Vegnagun, who was being used by Shuyin in an effort to save Lenne, and ended the threat once and for all by reuniting the lost spirits through Yuna’s songstress dress sphere.
The world was saved once again, though Yuna never got to see Tidus again. After Vegnagun’s defeat, the Fayth asked her if she wanted to see Tidus again, she desperately wanted to, but before she could, she was suddenly taken away by a strange force and ended up in an unknown land, all by herself.

The blinding bright light slowly faded out as Yuna opened her eyes, it was instead replaced by a thick mist and a cold wind. At first she didn’t really respond to her surroundings, confusion and fear keeping her down, but when a drop of water hit her cheek, Yuna jumped up and looked around her in a panic. “Rikku? Paine?” she called as she tried to make out where she was exactly. Was this Mount Gagazet? No… it would’ve been colder then, and not this misty. The Farplane then? Had she died? But… what happened? One moment she was sitting outside on the ship with Rikku and Paine, and the next she woke up here… so odd.
This reminded her of the time she fell down the hole in Djose and ended up on the Farplane with Shuyin… was it like that this time again? She quickly looked down at her clothing to see if she was wearing Lenne’s dress again, if so, this would be a terrible déjà-vu. Thankfully she wasn’t, so she hadn’t gotten herself trapped in some bizarre time-loop then. She was, however, wearing her summoner’s outfit again and rose an eyebrow as she looked herself over. When had that happened? More importantly, why?
Maybe this was some strange dream after all…
Cautiously she made her way through the mist, almost falling off the mountain a few times until she arrived at a path. It looked dangerous, but there was no time to worry; If something had happened to her, then it must’ve happened to Rikku and Paine as well as they had been right behind her on the ship, and she needed to find them.
“Rikku! Paine!” when she finally reached the end of the path, she could see a temple in the distance. Or… it looked like a temple. She wasn’t entirely sure. What she was sure of however was the shape she noticed disappearing into it. It had been too fast for a decent description, but the figure had been wearing something black… hadn’t it? Getting her hopes up, Yuna made a run for the grounds, as she drew closer, she realized this must’ve been some sort of training ground. After rushing up a few steps, she finally arrived at her destination. “Paine?”
Her hope instantly faded when she noticed the woman. She was glad she at least wasn’t alone here, but a part of her had hoped this was Paine. “I-I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to intrude!” she bowed her head slightly before taking a closer look at her surroundings which had now become more visible through the mist.
“Um, excuse me… but where are we? Is this… is this the Farplane?” this situation couldn’t get any weirder than it was now, one moment she was just enjoying the ride, the next she’s wandering about some unknown land asking the locals where she was. The woman must’ve found Yuna’s reaction funny if she was indeed a local, but for the moment Yuna couldn’t care less about her reputation.
She needed to find her friends.
