Name: Cloud Strife.
Age: Twenty Four.
Which game are you from: Final Fantasy Seven.
Weapons/Abilities:
Weapons:
The First Tsurugi: The First Tsurugi is composed of six separate swords that assemble into one large sword. The First Tsurugi consists of one main blade, one hollow blade that serves as the front edge, two identical (but asymmetrically opposite) blades that form the back, and two identical (also asymmetrically opposite) smaller blades that attach to the sides. The swords of the First Tsurugi in its disassembled state are usually stored in racks inside the special compartments (three racks per compartment) on both sides of Cloud's motorcycle, the Fenrir. In addition, Cloud wears a harness on his back which he carries the swords in.
Buster Sword: The sword that was given to him by Zack Fair, but now he doesn't use it, placing it atop the cliff that overlooks a vast plain and Midgar.
Limit Breaks (The Important/Cool Ones... Duh)
Omni-slash: This attack randomly hits an enemy 15 times.
-- Omni-Slash Versions 5: Cloud can only use this Limit Break if he's using his new six part sword and if all pieces of this multi-piece broad sword are connected. The Limit Break involves Cloud separating his sword into its individual components, and attacking the opponent once with each sword. He used this against Sephiroth when he fought him a second time.
Climhazzard: This attack strikes the enemy, jumping upwards and then running the blade across the enemy. Used against Bahamut when it attacked Midgar.
Blade Beam: This attack strikes and releases a wave of energy at a single enemy. Used against Loz in the Forgotten City.
Finishing Touch: This attacks his enemies with a tornado. Used against Kadaj.
Eidolons/ Summons: Ifrit, Knights of the Round Table, Odin. (( Only listing three, seeing that the three together are already powerful as they are. ))
Alliance: The Light.
♥I Ain't Gonna Live Forever♥
Personality:
Shrouded in mystery, showing no regret. He knows there's a lot to himself that he does not understand, and he rarely admits to the fact that he's quite withdrawn and introspective. Cloud has enough personality traits to be considered two people melded into one. Since he knows there's a lot to himself that he does not understand, this causes him to be irritable at times, and sometimes even to snap at friends. Toward the beginning of his work as an AVALANCHE mercenary, he also has a very large ego pertaining to his skills and his past with SOLDIER. He changes for the better once he realizes that there are bigger problems than himself to deal with.
Despite the dark feelings he may have, Cloud remains tight-roped loyal to his friends and true to those he cares about, driving him to protect them every single second of his life. He goes so far as to hide his pain and emotions so he won't worry about them at all. Believe it or not, Cloud has a lighter side, as he's able to 'rarely' crack up a joke to his friends. While he has a moody demeanor, it's not as brooding as Vincent Valentine's, keeping a sense of humor when he's in his lighter mood. His emotions and thoughts are normally expressed through his eyes, and he is deciphered as having motion sickness. Since he can ride on Fenrir to deliver, it meant that his motion sickness has approved.
When he was younger, he was shy but rather upbeat whom idolized both Zack Fair and Sephiroth Crescent. He didn't hesitate when he sent Sephiroth down to his death whilst being impaled by his masamune. He'd decided to distant himself from his friends in the future, trying to keep the affliction of Geostigma a secret and seek forgiveness. He has been cured of this, but during this time, the Geostigma added onto his helplessness. He doesn't know that he has a fake persona, made by Jenova's cells mixing his memory and Zack's personality, along with the selfish and cocky attitude that he believed a 1st Solider should have. He shows extreme concern for the safety of the planet. He shares a strong bond with Denzel, which he's highly likely to carry on the hero legacy.
History:
Early Years
Nibelheim is the home to the famous Cloud Strife, and was neighbors with Tifa Lockhart. Since he was young, his father died and his mother took care of him, leaving with him helping her around the house. During his youth, he dreamed of joining the Shinra army to become just like his idol, Sephiroth. He promised Tifa that he will protect her with everything he's got, and will come back for her when he arrives back in Nibelheim. He was treated as an outcast by the other children in the village, and believed that he was generally superior to them. At the age of sixteen years old, he finally joined up with the Shinra army, being a grunt at first, but gradually climbed up the ranks in the future.
Crisis Core
Roughly two years after arriving in Midgar, Cloud met up with Zack, a 1st class SOLDIER, when their helicopter crashed into the mountains near the Modeo Ravine. They became fast friends. Later on, Cloud is sent to Nibelheim as an escort to Sephiroth and Zack as they investigated an incident in the town's Mako reactor. The three men were led by Tifa to the reactor, but while there, Sephiroth discovered the experiments performed by Shinra on him with Jenova's DNA and Mako energy. Seeing the truth behind his origins drove Sephiroth mad, and he butchered the entire town's populace, including Cloud's mother. Cloud rushed to the reactor and saw Zack and Tifa unconscious. He picked up Zack's Buster sword, and while Sephiroth was distracted, Cloud stabbed him through the stomach and dropped him into the Mako below. In an attempt to cover up the incident, Shinra rebuilt the town and filled it with their employees, while Cloud was taken away to be experimented on. Zack helped him escaped Shinra's lab, but he was suffering from Mako poisoning. When he awoke from the semi-comatose state he was in, Cloud was met with the sight of his best friend dying at his feet. He was given the Buster Sword before Zack died. Traumatized and in shock, Cloud confused his own identity with Zack's.
Final Fantasy 7
Cloud traveled to Midgar and met the most unlikely person, Tifa. Believing he truly lived parts of Zack's life, he told her he is a mercenary now and was a former member of SOLDIER. Tifa noticed how odd he was acting and asked Cloud to join the anti-ShinRa resistance group, called AVALANCHE, to keep an eye on him. Cloud agreed and joined the group, becoming friends with the leader, Barret. After AVALANCHE blew up a mako reactor, Cloud got cut off from the group and met Aerith. Memories of Zack surface in Cloud's mind and he recalled that Zack was very close to the woman. Cloud vowed to protect her.
When Aerith got kidnapped by Shinra, Cloud was determined to stop Sephiroth from obtaining the Black Materia; which could be used to summon Meteor: one of the deadliest black magic spells in the world. Right when he retrieved the Black Materia, Sephiroth started to mess around with his mind, confusing him about who he truly was. With this into key advantage, Cloud was manipulated and gave back the Black Materia to Sephiroth, and this forced him and his friends to travel to the Forgotten City. There, Aerith prayed in front of a pond, and right when Cloud arrived, Sephiroth impaled her with his sword in front of his very own eyes. Driven by anger, Cloud vowed to stop Sephiroth and avenge Aerith. When Cloud found Sephiroth and fought him, he was suddenly thrown into the Lifestream by Meteor. The Lifestream, along with Tifa, helped Cloud regain his true self, defeating Sephiroth in the long run.
Advent Children
Cloud stayed away from his family because he believed that it was the best for him, resuming his delivery boy business and living in Aerith's church. When he received a phone call from Tifa stating that he was needed in Healin, he was suffering pain from the Geostigma while he hung up the phone. While he was advancing towards Healin, he was suddenly attacked by three silver haired men, on motorcycles. He was barely able to defend himself and get away. In Healin, Cloud learns that ShinRa is trying to be rebuilt. Angered, he left, not wanting to be a part of the company that has caused him and his friends so much trouble.
Arriving back in Midgar, Cloud headed to Aerith's church to find Tifa unconscious. He rushed to her side and Tifa wakes only long enough to tell him that Marlene was kidnapped. Before he can do anything about it, pain racks his body yet again from the Geostigma and he slips into unconsciousness. When he awakes, he is told that Denzel is also missing. Cloud does not immediately go after Marlene and Denzel; he is too afraid to get there and fail to save them just like he believes he did with Zack and Aerith. But Tifa persuaded him to go.
Cloud headed to the Forgotten City and battles with Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo, the three silver haired men who kidnapped the kids. He failed to defeat them and is saved by one of his friends, Vincent. Vincent tells Cloud that Kadaj and his gang are physical manifestations of Sephiroth, and that a fusion with Jenova cells will cause Sephiroth's return. They are looking for the remains of Jenova to accomplish this. Cloud sees this as a chance to earn forgiveness for failing to protect his friends and he heads back to Midgar.
A burden seemed to be lifted from Cloud as he took Tifa's advice and tried to change the events instead of running away. Kadaj summoned Bahamut, causing panic and destruction in Midgar. Cloud and his friends battle against Bahamut and Cloud is able to defeat it with their help. Cloud chases Kadaj into Aerith's church, realizing that he was able to find the remains of Jenova. When Kadaj attacks Cloud, it blasts a chunk of the church floor with it. Lifestream-influenced water pours out, curing Cloud of his Geostigma. Kadaj takes off again, Cloud followed, and they battle in the ruins of the ShinRa Building. Cloud clearly has the advantage until Kadaj fused himself with the remains of Jenova. Sephiroth is reborn and as they fight he tries again to twist Cloud's mind and cause him to despair. Cloud ignored him until Sephiroth made the mistake of asking him what he cherishes most in the world so he can have the pleasure of taking it away from him. Inspired by the memories and thoughts of his family and friends, Cloud replied that there is nothing in this world he doesn't cherish and he defeated Sephiroth.
Feeling better then he had in a long time, Cloud closed his eyes and enabled the rain fall on his face. Suddenly, Cloud is shot in the back and an explosion is set off by Yazoo and Loz, apparently killing all three of them. However, Cloud's spirit is stopped by Zack and Aerith from entering the Lifestream. Cloud woke up in the Lifestream-infused water in Aerith's church, surrounded by family and friends. Cloud realizes that being with the people he loves is the real joy in the world, that he was never alone.

♥This Ain't A Song For The Brokenhearted♥
RP Sample: Cold, desolated roads lined the barren wasteland that was called home to the new addition of monsters to this completely different world. It was all too similar to the real Midgar, where people went on their business like nothing had happened. Here, people were cautious, always keeping an eye out for the strange people that wander the streets. Strange people that stuck out like him; six blades on his back, blond spiky hair that's gravity defying, and a uniform that matched a First Class SOLDIER. Here -- he wasn't free: memories of Aerith's death and Zack giving him the Buster Sword flooded his memory, and with each incoming day being in this new world, he felt as if he was dead. Looking like it, acting like it, speaking like it. He was going on a delivery business until his world was torn, taking everyone with them, besides him. He didn't know if there was other people besides him here. Midgar suffered so much damage, that even Aerith's church might have been caught during the mess. The blond's blank stare overlooked the barren wasteland and out towards Midgar, his eyes showing signs of longing and sorrow.
It was almost as if the area was dead, save for the bellowing cries of the monsters as some were battling against each other, and some having to eat themselves for survival. No one dared to venture outside their cities; the Leader that did all of this looked over the world that he created with a satisfying smile. He did not know who did it, but the people that lived in his city might, and that will be his first destination before moving on in life. His path was only filled with trouble, fighting, friends. Friends. One word that he almost forgot before arriving here. He silently wished inside that they were alright; doing greatly despite these times. As his black boots stomped on the ground, his eyes gently lay upon the spot where Zack's sword was supposed to be, yet it wasn't there. Wasn't there. He was shocked; where did it go? Did someone grab it and keep it as an antique, or did they go and break it because they felt like it? He hoped it wasn't the latter, and if it was, there would be hell to pay.
Shook by guilt and grief, Cloud looked down at the spot where it was supposed to be, and looked up towards the sky. What would Zack think about him now? Would he think that he was some fool that couldn't keep a promise? This Buster Sword was precious to him. It was the time when he became a First Class SOLDIER, and the moment when he joined AVALANCHE because he learned what Shinra was doing. Closing his eyes for a moment, the truth about him was beneath the surface, and he was trying to break that brick wall.
